Making sailing even more fun

Like any sport or skill, sailing gets more enjoyable the better you get at it - yes those dreaded words: 'you've got to practice'. You have to repeat the basic techniques so they become embed as instinctive reactions(kids find that a lot easier than adults).

Everyone signing up for our course becomes a member of the club and as such all adults can sail whenever they want - but in the early days you will want a safety boat around and someone in it who can help you when things go wrong - so we follow on with some opportunities to sail other than when formal racing sessions happen.

On our course, you will learn the basics but those are, of necessity, only the minimum. Getting out on the water is the next step towards becoming a confident and accomplished sailor, but what do you do out there?

You could just sail around enjoying the scenery and the sounds and sensations of a boat moving throught the water ( and those are highly pleasurable).

So, we have a whole treasure chest of fun activities that will improve your skills as you sail. It is a pleasant way to progress and to become ever more comfortable in a boat.
