Finding the club
We are located in the heart of Etherow Country Park and you can find us via

Directions by car.
- Take the exit at J25 of the M60 entering Bredbury.
- Take the second left on the first roundabout, onto Crookiley Way.
- Take the third left on the second roundabout, onto Ashton Rd.
- Continue along Ashton Rd. and turn left onto Stockport Road West.
- Pass Morrisons Supermarket & Homebase on your left, passing straight through the first set of traffic lights.
- Turn right onto Bents Lane at the second set of traffic lights.
- Continue along Bents Lane, becoming Berrycroft Lane, and later, School Brow.
- Pass the Friendship Inn Pub on your right, and Romiley Train Station on your left.
- Continue along Compstall Road.
- Come down the large Hill, and turn left onto George St., signposted Etherow Country Park.
- Turn right into the country park and go to the far end where you will se the masts in the dinghy park.

Fancy sailing? You do not need to be an accomplished sailor to join the club.
If you are really interested, you could always begin by crewing for an experienced helmsperson and learn as you go.
